Supporting people. Opening opportunities. Building inclusive communities.
People are at the heart of Beity’s mission. Since 2004, we have worked alongside children, youth, women, and local communities to strengthen their capacities, expand their opportunities, and encourage their meaningful participation in society. Guided by the principles of dignity, equality, non-discrimination, and social justice, our work addresses social and economic inequalities while promoting gender equality, education, leadership, and community engagement.
Our initiatives place particular emphasis on women, youth, rural and underserved communities, and vulnerable and crisis-affected populations, including internally displaced people and host communities.
Some projects also appear under Governance & Social Accountability, reflecting their contribution to both women’s leadership and participation in public life.

Through Colonie Beity, established in 2005, and other educational and recreational activities, children learn, explore, develop their creativity, and strengthen their social and personal skills.
Beity Youth for Development (BYD), volunteer camps, youth exchanges, educational programmes and community activities encourage young people to engage in community life.
From supporting the establishment of the Women’s Bureau for Development in Kfardebian to recent women’s leadership and livelihood initiatives, we strengthen women’s skills and opportunities.
Shared learning, dialogue, leadership development and small-scale livelihood initiatives with women from displaced and host communities.
