Preserving our heritage. Protecting our environment. Creating lasting local opportunities.
Sustainable development has been central to Beity’s identity since its establishment. Rooted in our experience in hostelling, responsible tourism, environmental protection, and rural development, we work to create meaningful connections between people, places, and local resources.
We believe that Lebanon’s natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and rural communities are valuable assets that should be preserved and developed responsibly. Through tourism development, environmental initiatives, local partnerships, and community-based activities, we support opportunities that contribute to local economic growth while respecting the environment and preserving community identity.
Through Auberge Beity, our longstanding youth hostel in Kfardebian, we have created a welcoming space for Lebanese and international visitors, youth groups, schools, universities, associations, and communities, with opportunities for cultural exchange, learning, networking and volunteering.
Hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, mountain excursions, heritage visits and community-based tourism experiences, organized with local residents, tourism stakeholders, producers and municipalities.
Reforestation, environmental awareness, waste management education, volunteer clean-up campaigns, and advocacy for the preservation of natural landmarks, including Kfardebian’s Natural Stone Bridge.
